I started practicing yoga in my early twenties, going for the classes on a non-regular basis at first. But in a while, it has become a daily practice for me. Now it’s my everyday morning routine. By now I’ve been practicing yoga for 10 years. With yoga I got myself through different restorative processes, that is why my interest in the whole practice revolves around restorative and yin yoga styles. Apart from that, I’m also experimenting with body awareness practices, dance movement psychotherapy. I like to think of my personal practice as of a journey, throughout which I can become stronger physically and psychologically, heal physically and emotionally, learn to listen to what my body tells me about me, learn to communicate with people and the environment in the different ways. It all might sound a bit too abstract at first, but basically it’s all about developing physical self, developing body and self-awareness. Now I found myself at the point of that journey where I’d like to start sharing my experience.
